Running from Friday at 1pm to Monday at 5pm, you'll experience a huge choice of games from boardgames, to roleplaying, to special events of all sorts!

SuperHero Helpers

Hosting so much fun requires a lot of work - and hundreds of hours of heroic effort from our volunteers! If you're skilled at running games for others, please volunteer as a Game Master or Judge. If running games isn't your cup of tea, sign up to be a Host where you can help at registration or other areas across the convention. Whether as a GM or Host, with certain minimum commitments, you can earn anything from a Green Kubla pin, to free weekend registration.

72 hours of gaming fun

Over 600 individual games make up the weekend of fun - everything from boardgames to parading hoardes of mini-mongols! And while most of our Kubla Fun is games, games, and more games, we also offer an exhibit hall of game vendors, special events such as our Fun Friday Flea market and a famously popular War College.

The gorgeous Burlingame Hyatt at the San Francisco airport has hosted our event for over ten years... and for good reason! With over 50,000sqft of gaming area, and an atrium that just invites you to play games, it's the ideal home for Kubla and his family. We've arranged a discount rate for our attendees, but rooms are limited so book early!

The earlier you register, the better savings you'll enjoy! We also offer a discount to parents who register with their fully paid child. Likewise, we love gaming groups and clubs! And to that end we offer special pricing to groups who submit a minimum of 10 registrations. Our biggest, and sometimes youngest, fans take advantage of our LIFETIME memberships that include special perks. We also offer one-day and weekend passes ON-Site at the show.
