1. Tell us a little about yourself...
I'm a girl working full time in the game industry. I have other hobbies which include making chainmail and sewing. I read books all the time, mostly sci-fi and fantasy. I live up in Seattle, yet love to come down to the Bay Area any time I can. :)

2. What do you do at KublaCon?
What I basically do for my company, I am in charge of play testing the Amateur Game Contest. I play the games submitted once before the show, and then during the convention, I have other guests of honor play test the games and write their impressions about it. This provides great feedback for those amateur designers out there.
3. How did you get involved with KublaCon and how long have you been here?
It's a long tale, but I started going to KublaCon starting with the first one. I was working for Cheapass Games at the time, and was there to sell products. After a while, and a few job changes, I now volunteer my time as this is the best gaming convention out there.
4. What motivates you and what rewards to you get out of being involved with KublaCon?
As my part of KublaCon is something I do for a living, I just really appreciate the opportunity to better the industry. By giving fledgling designers feedback, it may help them create the next amazing game I play all the time. In fact, I play the game that won last year with my friends still. I just wish someone would publish it. :)
5. What is your earliest gaming or game convention memory?
Actually, KublaCon was my very first all gaming convention. I'd been to Sci-Fi and Fantasy Conventions up here in the Pacific Northwest, but there weren't any all gaming ones. I've since been to many others, but KublaCon is still the best in my mind.
6. What is your favorite gaming or game convention memory?
Goodness that is a tough one. I would have to say the introduction of Times Up! and playing with the random people outside the hall at GenCon one year. It was so amazingly fun!! "LIGHT!"
7. What is your least favorite gaming or game convention memory?
Oh, that's easy, because of the way I used to dress ("goth") it was always assumed I was a Larper. Nothing against the Larpers out there, but it just isn't my bag. I would have people come up to me and gesture wildly like I would know what they were doing... and I wasn't in their game. Ha!
8. Give us a top 3 list of your favorite games and tell us your least favorite game.
Top 3: Time's Up, Apples to Apples, Fury of Dracula
Least Favorite: Zombies!
9. Where do you currently play games and what do you play when you are there?
Well, at work... and I can't tell you about those games.. well, for a few months anyway. Other than that, I play at friends houses, and it is mostly boardgames.
10. If you want to tell all of the KublaCon attendees one thing, what would it be?
Prepare to have fun. If you see me out and about, say hi! I might even be able to sit down and play a quick game with you! Oh, and don't be afraid of sending in your game design. I will not tear it apart... well, maybe I will, but I'm never mean about it. I only want to provide the contest applicants a means of getting some good feedback!
