Welcome to our Eleventh issue of the Khannections Newsletter!

Greeting and Salutations to you one and all!

We hope that each and every one of you has had a pleasant and prosperous summer and have had lots of fun with the spectacular weather that we had here in the SF Bay Area.

But for now, it is that time again. It's time for the KublaCon staff to come out of their summer hibernation and get cracking on putting together another spectacular game convention for all you folks. It seems just like yesterday that we were saying hello to you at the Burlingame Hyatt and having a blast at KublaCon 06 and POOF, time to get ready for 2007!

Volunteering and GM's

It does take a very large amount of time and work to put together our convention so we are already looking for people to put their names in the hat for volunteering for next year.
Our übergeek executive producer, Japji, has created an entirely new online system for non-GM volunteering. If you don't already have an online account, you'll need to make one. Then just log into your account, search for various volunteer tasks, and check the ones that you're interested in doing. Angel, our Volunteer Coordinator, will monitor your requests... and assign people to tasks between now and KublaCon. You'll be able to search and view your task requests... and your task assignments. Check it out!

Our website is now open for your game submissions. We can't implore you enough to make sure to get your games in as early as you can to make sure you not only get a good spot for your game, but to make sure you even have a chance to get your game in. We again had to turn away games for KublaCon 06 as both the RPG and Board Game departments had run out of room well before the April deadline. We suspect this year will be no different. So get those games in as soon as you can!!!

Getting Ready for KublaCon 2007

With more gaming goodness then you can shake a stick and prizes & surprises every where you turn; it's never too early to start planning your pilgrimage to KublaCon 2007. Whether you're an attendee, GM, or volunteer visit our Getting Ready page on how you can get started now!

"So let me introduce to you, the one and only Billy Shears..."

Some of you may already know this month's 10 Questions victim and we here at the newsletter give our sincerest condolences to you folks for having to put up with him for all these years. Of course, we all love him and the Con would not be the same without our local poker shark. For those of you who don't know him, here is our Special Events Coordinator Jeff Wilcox.

GenCon SoCal and Kubla Staff Sightings

KublaCon will once again have a booth at GenCon SoCal this year and several staff members will be there saying hi to the crowds. Come on down to booth 103 and show your support! Rumor also has it that the famous (or is that infamous?) Rubber Band Trick Guy will be there to help man the booth. Come on down and he may even show you how to do the coolest rubber band trick you have ever seen!

Well Folks, that's it for now. Look for our next exciting issue coming out soon. Until then, take care and happy gaming!

Thanks! :o)

The Fine Print:

If you have any questions, comments or contributions for Khannections, you can reach the newsletter at: Khannections@KublaCon.com

KublaCon does NOT sell, rent or share its mailing list with anyone else! Please feel free to send this email to your friends and help us spread the word on how fun KublaCon is. Grandma Bost says: "You can grow up, but whatever you do, don't ever grow old." and we can do that by playing more games! OK Japji, let’s sing it like the Beatles! Little darlin' the smiles returning to their faces.  Little darlin' it seems like years since it's been here. Here comes the Con! Here comes the Con! And I say it's all right!!!

Go Kubla! :o)
