Deadline for Event Submissions is April 1st! (Really, no fooling!!!)

KublaCon is right around the corner and more importantly our game submission deadline is April 1^st. Some of our Coordinators already have a tight squeeze as far as room goes for new games (especially the RPG and Boardgame departments!) so if you want to have ANY chance to have your game considered for KublaCon’s schedule and in the onsite program book, get them in as soon as you can! So don’t delay! Go here right now and submit your games!!

There is still time to save money and pre-register!
 
Also don’t forget, you can still pre-register and save $10 (that’s a whopping 20%) off the full four day pass if you register by April 15th. So that is only $40 for all four days of gaming goodness and is a great value for your entertainment dollar. Volunteers

We are always looking for help! It takes a very large number of people to make KublaCon run with smooth sails. If you help out for at least 8 hours, you will get your weekend pass purchase reimbursed to you and a spiffy green KublaCon pin. You can get more info on our Getting Ready page or by going here!

T-shirt Design Contest

Submit your entry in the KublaCon T-Shirt Design Contest, in which you could win a LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP for yourself or a friend and have your design worn by KublaCon fans for years to come.
Read all of the rules very carefully, as failure to follow them could disqualify the gorgeous design that you slaved over. You can go here to get all of the details and submission guidelines!

KublaStaff Sightings

Department Reports!

With less then 1 WEEK before the Event Submittal deadline, the events are coming in at “ludicrous speed” (and no, we can’t slow down first!). Here is a quick peek at just some of the bigger events you will find at the show…

Settlers of Catan Tournament: Do you play Settlers like a pro? If so, put your money where your mouth is! Come play the Settlers of Catan where the top prize is $750! So be sure to come to KublaCon and play for your chance to win!

Zombies Invade KublaCon: Summoning all ghouls to the Gamers Unplugged Zombie Walk at Kubla Con 2010! Come one, come all the Zombie Crawl at Kubla Con! Undead stalk the halls of the convention! The horde shall gather and begin its shamble thru the convention at 6 pm on Sunday. This is a time for the undead to shine and show the living what its really all about! Come in your funerary best ( or what ever you were wearing when you were inducted into the legions of the walking dead). Horror Host, Miss Misery of the Last Doorway Show will be on hand to make sure everything gets underway in ghoulish fashion.

Enduro Dungeon: The Great Khan has hidden his treasure well. Searching for only the best for his Royal Guard, he has posted an open invitation. Find his treasure, get as far as you can. But be alert, many dangers await you. Those who make if furthest will be resurrected to become the Great Kubla Khans Elite Guard! This event will be run multiple times throughout the convention weekend. Come and compete in this tournament style event.

Boy, that guy never stops going! He is one of our busiest Staff Members and helps head up the RPGA department.
