Hey there all you cool cats,
I hope all of you have had a good winters nap and have survived the holiday season with lots of new games and goodies to play with in the New Year. As we all look forward to the spring (with all of the warmer weather to go with it), we also are looking forward to this years KublaCon. It’s going to be bigger and better then ever and I know I can’t wait to be there. One of the most important things that makes KublaCon so great are, of course, the fabulous GM’s that volunteer to run their games at the convention. So if you are interested in bringing your game to the Con, please contact us and we will help you out in any way we can. We do have a few GM requests from our fearless leaders and some other news tidbits here.
Department Reports
Cupid? Valentine's Day? Romance? What do these things have to do with KublaCon? Well nothing really... except to say that we LOVE putting on our weekend of gaming and we do have some department updates for you.
You have how many in your party?!
We had a suggestion given to us about offering a group/club rate for attending KublaCon. So we said, why not? It will only be offered until April 15th and you can register club members for only $30 each (a minimum of 10 people must register) which can save you $5-$10 on each member's registration.
Some restrictions apply, so please read the Club Registration Form for complete details before paying for your registration. .
These are not the droids your're looking for...
However, if you read this month's Ten Questions With... article you'll get to know the inner secrets of another of KublaCon's worker droids. Overseeing the flight deck of all our events, please meet Kevin O'Hare.
A gaggle of Kubla-Geese...
A small herd... uhhh... flock... of our staff will be attending one of two conventions February over the Presidents Day weekend. One of them will be DundraCon which will be held in San Ramon (I will be there with my Carabande set on Friday afternoon) and the other is having its inaugural event in southern California, Conquest LA.
If you happen to be attending either of those conventions, please feel free to look for us. Don’t be afraid to say hi or ask us any questions you may have about KublaCon or ask us to play a game or even offer to buy us some lunch! (ok, maybe that is asking for too much).
Other news tidbits from the desk of the Khannections newsletter.
1. KublaCon supports the city of San Carlos and their 6th annual Week of the Family.
2. KublaCon introduces Hyatt's PassKey room registration.
3. For you geeks - a short technical update on our event server issues.
Don't forget it's not too early to start planning for 2005
Whether you're a GM or an attendee, there are things you can do now to get ready for the convention (like register!)
Well Folks, thanks for checking out our third issue of the Khannections Newsletter.

KublaCon does NOT sell, rent or share its mailing list with anyone else! Please feel free to send this email and help us spread the word on how fun KublaCon is. Grandma Bost says: "You can grow up, but whatever you do, don't ever grow old." and we can do that by playing more games! OK Japji... What in tarnation did you do with January?!?!? I blinked and it was like gone! Well, as the Beatles say, All you need is love (and a good game of Settlers to go with it)! Go Kubla! :o)
