Start planning your pilgrimage to KublaCon 2005.
Listed below are some links to help you get started.
GameMasters
Event space is filling up fast but you still have time to get your event/s in. There are still a few spaces left to run your games, but you must get them submitted to our website very soon if you want one. The earlier you submit your events, the more likely they’ll get accepted and the better chance you’ll have of getting your first choice of time slot to run it in (especially in the RPG area).
If you are a returning GM who runs a similar, popular, event every year (such as Aerodrome or Monster Smash) you can now just update the event to an “Event Proposal” instead of having to enter all the information again. It’s easy to do. Just log into your account and any events you ran last year will now be marked as “Prior Yr Event.” Simply click the green “Update” button and you’ll be taken to a series of forms that will be filled with last year’s event info. Change or update any description, requested time, etc., and with a few clicks of the mouse you’ll have turned your event into an “Event Proposal” for 2005!
If this is the first time you are going to run an event, you will need to create an account at the below link and then submit a game once you have been registered. If you need any help with this, please feel free to email us and we will help you out in any way we can.
Log in or create your GM account here!
Attendees
Yes! You can still pre-register NOW!
(Don’t pass GO, Do not collect $200, Go directly to Pre-Reg!)
As Kublacon grows each year, registering early is more important than ever. A full four day weekend pass is only $40 (a savings of $10 off the normal price) if you register by April 15th and as usual, parents will receive an additional $10 off their weekend pass when they register with a fully paid child.
We also are still offering our group/club rate for attending KublaCon. It will only be offered until April 15th and you can register club members for only $30 each (a minimum of 10 people must register) which can save you $10 on each member's registration. Some restrictions apply, so please read the Club Registration Form for complete details before paying for your registration. .
Hotel Accommodations
We have been told that the rooms at the Hyatt are going like gangbusters. You can start reserving your rooms online at the Hyatt now, or by calling 1-888-421-1442 and asking for the KublaCon Special rate of $101 per night. The hotel did sell out of rooms for Saturday night last year, and we expect a similar (if not a greater) demand for rooms in 2005.
Parking
Last year we had over 2300 attendees at KublaCon and needless to say (with only 800 parking spaces), the parking lot filled up fast. To help alleviate this problem this year, we really would like to encourage as much use of public transportation and carpooling as we can. The Hyatt does run a shuttle service between the SF Airport BART station and the hotel. You can contact the Hyatt at 650-347-1234 for more info.
