News from our longtime supporter - Flying Buffalo!

A Japanese company has produced two manga-style "Lost Worlds Picture
Combat Books". These are compatible with all the other Lost Worlds
books, are hardback, and the interior art is in FULL COLOR. The books are in
Japanese (but the translation will be on the Flying Buffalo webpage) and they are,
ummm, PG. There is no nudity, but the art is somewhat riske'.

For more information go to http://www.flyingbuffalo.com/risty.htm

Lost Worlds is a fantasy combat dueling system that does not use
dice. If you'd like a demo of how it works, come to the Flying
Buffalo booth at KublaCon. And if you can beat me (Rick) in a duel,
I'll give you a free bumper sticker ($2 value).

New Ticket to Ride from Days of Wonder - coming in April!

Ticket to Ride - Märklin Edition is the third installment in Days of Wonder's best-selling boardgame series that has won 14 international game awards, including the prestigious Spiel des Jahres. The boardmap for the Märklin Edition is based on a map of Germany and introduces a new gameplay element where players can use passengers to pick up merchandise worth different numbers of points along the routes that they claim. However, the game is as simple to learn and teach as the previous versions.

Those of you who know the train hobby are likely to be familiar with the Märklin name. This German company has been around for over 140 years and is the world's leader in the miniature train hobby. The Märklin Edition of Ticket to Ride marries the best of the model train and board gaming worlds. Each train card in this edition will feature a different image (118 in all) of a Märklin model train car or locomotive.
