1. Tell us a little about yourself...
I grew up in small-town Northern California. I didn't get into gaming until I was 18, but when I did, I got into the hobby in a big way. I enjoy most games, but RPGs, and boardgames especially. I like long walks on the beach, and ice cream.

2. What do you do at KublaCon?
I am an Assistant RPG Coordinator. I help David and Jeffrey when we support Role-Playing Games before the Con, and help out during the Con by working to ensure that our GMs and players are happy, and having fun. At the con we do our best to get our RPGers the stuff they need, and when necessary matching games with gamers.
3. How did you get involved with KublaCon and how long have you been here?
Accidentally. I've been with the Con since about two weeks before KublaCon '05, when the position came available. When a friend of mine couldn't take on the job, she recommended me, and the rest is history. Although I joined late last time, I tried to contribute all I could, and I look forward to helping even more this year.
4. What motivates you and what rewards to you get out of being involved with KublaCon?
I have enjoyed the benefits of getting to game at conventions with people all over the Bay Area and California for over twelve years. Convention gaming helped me connect with gaming as a hobby outside my little town, and after I moved to the Bay Area, I relished the opportunity to try new games and to re-connect with the friends I only got to see at conventions. I really enjoy being a part of the hobby, and I like helping others get the same fun out of conventions that I do.
5. What is your earliest gaming or game convention memory?
My earliest convention memory was ArcataCon, a small college convention at Humboldt State University, but my first major convention memory was a weekend drive down to the Bay Area for GamesCaucus II in May '96.
6. What is your favorite gaming or game convention memory?
Why, helping out at KublaCon, of course!
-
I currently play games at home or at friends' homes in the Oakland/Berkeley area. I also try to play at Endgame when I can, to see new faces. We play Settlers, Arkham Horror, Reiner Knizia's Beowulf, Ticket to Ride: Europe, the Great Dalmutti, Earthdawn, Traveller, GURPS, Paranoia XP, Pirates of the..., and many other games.
10. If you want to tell all of the KublaCon attendees one thing, what would it be?
If you can possibly swing it, even if you only live 30 minutes away from the convention, stay at the Con hotel. There's nothing like being done with a long day's gaming and knowing that you're just steps away from a bed and a shower, and better yet, just steps again to even more gaming the next morning. Even if you can't stay, come early, leave late, have fun!
