Look, up in the sky… Hello to all of our readers. Yep, KublaCon is flying in at us really quickly. In fact our game submission deadline is April 4th and some of our Coordinators are running out of room for new games (especially the RPG and Boardgame departments!). If you want to have any chance to have your game considered for KublaCon’s schedule, get them in as soon as you can. It’s a bird… Now that DunDraCon is over, our event Coordinators are going Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs as the events are coming in at “ludicrous speed” (and no, we can’t slow down first!). Let’s take a look at this month's department reports to see what they have hiding under all those ruffled feathers… It’s a plane… Whether by plain, train or automobile, they are coming from all over! As always, KublaCon attracts many special guests that come to the Con for many reasons. People like Darren Watts of Hero Games and Jamie Chambers of Sovereign Press come to be part of the dealer’s room and run a few special events for us. People like Keith Baker and Dungeon Majesty come to promote themselves and hang out with attendees. Some companies like Mongoose Publishing and Days of Wonder like to come and demo and debut new games. Some people like Scott Alden and Derk Solko of boardgamegeek.com fame come to even do a podcast at the convention. But they ALL like to come to KublaCon just because it’s plain ol’ fun to do so. And this year’s list of who’s who is bigger and better then ever before! You can see them here! It’s a frog! Not bird, nor plane nor even frog, it’s just little ol’ me… Well OK, we obviously can’t interview a cartoon character here. But you may just think that after reading up on this month’s victim. So with no further ado, let me introduce to you… our passionate Games Workshop Miniatures Coordinator, Troy Gann! When Polly’s in trouble I am not slow… Hurry! Don’t be late and don’t miss out on finding those deals! The Flea Market is back and we’ll be giving you two chances to find them. Now there is a Fun Friday Flea Market to go along with the Monster Monday Flea Market. The flea market will take place in the Grand Ballroom as we did last year right near the dealer's area. These spacious digs will ensure plenty of buyers, many sellers, and tons of games to choose from! We encourage you to make your weekend plans so that you can get a chance to check out this new format. It’s hip, hip, hip and away I go! To the action packed, filled to the brim giant sized Dealers Room! Once again we have a Dealers Room with more Vendors then you can shake a wand of fireballs at. From Aberrant Games which sells a fast paced, cinematic miniature battle game called (Rezolution) to Z-Man Games that makes the Shadowfist CCG and the B-Movie card games (like Grave Robbers from Outerspace), there will be an abundant amount of paraphernalia to peruse. You can check them out here. There’s no need to fear… Our Bulletin Board is a great place to get together with other KublaCon fanatics. So don’t be afraid to log on and post a message or three. You say you need a room mate to shack up with at the Con? Looking for a car pool to help get to the Hyatt easier (and save some gas money!)? Just want to see what's going on? Tell your friends about exciting KublaCon events! There is a new web feature you can use to make you look like a superhero by telling all of your friends about your favorite KublaCon events! First, you have to have an account and be logged in (you can create a new account here). Then, when you're viewing individual events, there's a button to "Tell a Friend." Just enter your friend's email - and a short personal note if you like - and just like that, your “Superfriends” are in-the-know about KublaCon happenings!
